Disgusting!!!!

Yes, that is a Box Elder Bug. They are the most annoying bugs in the WORLD! We have them everywhere at my house. Ask anyone who has been here in the last couple weeks. Not only are the covering the outside of my house, they have some how found a way to get inside. I swear I sweep my kitchen floor about 10 times a day cause it's like routine now, when you walk in the back door, you grab the fly swatter and start killing bugs. Yesterday I thought I'd count as I walked around the house killing these stupid things. I killed 32. Then later on that evening I killed six that were hiding in Jason's lamp, and 10 that were hiding in Justy's lamp. How gross. When you walk out the back door you have to swing your arms like crazy, just so they don't hit you in the face. I'm sure you'd have quite the show if you drove by when i'm walking out the door. I absolutely hate them!!! My brother claims that they drink out of your mouth at night. I don't know why he thinks that, but i'm starting to believe it. Where i've woken up many times to one crawling on my arm. I think next year we will invest in some chickens. Hopefully they'll clean them up outside. These bugs don't hurt anything, they are just annoying. Justy is even getting good at flicking them off her wall. And she's usually terrified of bugs. I'm sorry for rambling. I hope you all don't think i'm a gross lady with bugs in her house, because it hasn't been this bad in years. And everyone around me is having the same problem this year. Soon, it will be cold and they will all disappear. I can not wait!
