Yeah...I'm sorry! I'm horrible! It's been a weird crazy last couple of months. So we're gonna play a little game of catch up! YAY! Sorry if I bore you, but I think i'll feel better if I get up to date.
This first picture is of Justy and her friend, Claire, at their Science Fair for school.
Justy and her Grandma did a project about...hmmm...about...ha...I forget and she's asleep, so I can't ask her.
Anyway, she did a great job. Can't believe my baby will be in 5th grade next year.
5th!!!!!!!
Oh look! She did it on "How Do Some Things Float and Sink?" :o)
In May, my sis and I took a FUN trip to Boise to stay the weekend with our cousins, Connie and Jennifer.
We had an awesome time. We went to the Farmer's Market, and out to eat to fun places.
I even got to go to place featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. I LOVE THAT SHOW!
It was pretty tasty. The service sucked, but I had a fun time there.
We went and got pedicures, and don't even get me started on that adventure. ;o) I'm glad I got this time in with my sister, because she's moving to MISSOURI in a month! :o( It really makes me want to cry or throw up knowing she's gonna be so far away.
Here's me and Moni at the place we went to on our last night there.
It was delicious, but I forget the name of it. It was packed!
Here's me posing in front of Guy's Triple D stamp.
Can't beat a Trailer Park Cuisine!
This past year my cousin, Jammie, and I were in charge of planning our
Thorpe Reunion! Woo hoo! What a job that was. It probably would have been easier if we
hadn't waited til the last minute to get everything ready for it. But I work great under pressure.
I think it was great. I hope everyone had a good time like I did. There was GREAT food,
company, lots of fun things for the raffle and tons of donated quilts! We put on a little program and my sister and dad participated in that. It turned out good.
Here's my afghan that I donated to the raffle. I think that's the funnest part of the whole reunion. I think we had 10 gorgeous blankets this year and I felt really bad for the winner of this baby. :o) O'well!!!
Every reunion we let off balloons to our relatives that have passed on. Means a lot more to me now that Grandma is gone. Hope she got her bright yellow balloon! :o)
See! HAPPY!
Last Tuesday I called to Jason to rub it in his face that my cobbler was so much better than his, and he tells me he needs to go to the E.R.! While riding his horse in the arena the horse slipped and fell right on top of his right leg and busted his ankle BIG TIME! They made him wait an entire week to get surgery on it, so we got that done yesterday. What was supposed to be a 1 screw, and 45 minute surgery turned into a 5 screw, and 3 1/2 hour surgery!! He has been doing pretty good though since being home. He'll be recovering most the summer from this but should be able to walk in a boot just in time for hunting season! WOOHOOO!!!! I never realized til now how much he does for me and the kids! I am SO wore out from doing his chores, keeping McCoy entertained 24/7, running Justy around to all her activities, keeping the house cleaned, cooking dinner, and laundry! Anyone want to hire me a maid or a cook?
Me and Coy keeping Daddy company in bed. Coy thinks it's funny to stick his finger up his nose for pictures. SILLY BOY!
Here's to a great but busy rest of the summer. Justy is SO busy with softball and this year she is doing a 4H sheep. I'll keep you updated on that adventure. I promise Promise PROMISE to do better at this blogging stuff. And it won't be so boring next time. It's my bed time.
*haha*
Coming up...BIG NEWS!!! Stay tuned!!!
