Blog Shmlog!

Yeah...i'm a slacker. I know it. I do have time in a day to work on it, but who wants to blog when their baby is sleeping?! I got cleaning and laundry and reading and sleeping to catch up on. I'm writing on here to PROMISE that I will blog at least once a week!!! Hope I can find things to blog about.
Not much going on here. Nothing new. We have been busy with our yard and garden.
Seems like we don't get enough light in a day to finish what we need. It's gonna suck when it starts getting dark way earlier!!! We'd stay outside longer at night, but we have a slight problem. I know some people think it's great, but come on! The problem is BATS! Yes, bats!
He's smiling...I know it!

We have them living in our attic. Sick, right? They are good for the bugs around here, but they are not good for my house and every night around 9ish we scramble to get in the house before they start swooping at us. Some of us even go as far as putting laundry baskets on our head to go turn off water or get something out of the freezer.
lol Jason and Justy sat outside one night to see where they were flying out of. Jason thought maybe there was 20 or so, but he was only out there for a few minutes. My dad and sister sat out one night and watched and they said it looked like smoke coming out of our roof. There were probably 75-100!!!!!! Jason and I flipped so the next day he went around and filled in most the holes except two so we could fill them in after they flew out. We filled them in last night, so we're hoping we see none coming out tonight. Cross your fingers.

Justy finished up her softball season. She's a good player! She hits the ball far and is an awesome catcher! I'm glad that she likes sports so much.
Lately she's been busy with her cake decorating class. She absolutely loves that. She'll be putting a cake in the fair this coming week and she hopes she wins. She's really good at it. Must take after her Aunt Monica. :o)

We got all her school shopping done! YAY! And she starts on the 24th. I can't believe she'll be in 4th grade! I remember when I was in 4th grade! I was a complete dork. lolShe's a lot cuter than I was. :o) What a beauty!!!
McCoy is growing growing growing! He is into everything! He is now walking and is 1. We had a fun party for him. Thanks to my sister it was a hit! A lot of people came and he got lots of fun presents. He wasn't too thrilled with his cake, but that was mostly because someone was making him nervous the entire time. Grrrr...

He's talking a lot too. Saying, What's that?, hi, doggie, Dixie, Daddy, Ni-night, bye bye, cookie, kitty, Justy, Thank you. He points at everything and he does this crazy thing where he talks in his own language and laugh and talk a little more and laugh. It's hilarious!!! He's been a little picky with the food. But he sure loves to play with it.

Oh and he also says, "CHEESE!" and gives you the biggest cheesey face ever!!!

He'll give Daddy kisses, but he won't give Mommy one. What's the deal!?! Oh, and he's not longer a Mama's boy. More like a Daddy's boy.

His sister is still a HUGE help. She loves playing with him and one of their favorite things to do it play in the sprinklers. (notice how HUGE his diaper is.)
MAN! I've got some cute kids.

And my blog wouldn't be complete without Jason. I've said many times before how much I love this guy. He does so much for us and is such a hard worker. No questions asked, when he walks in the door he takes over and plays with Coy til bed time. Unless he's got a horse to shoe or going for a ride to looks for deer. I'm so blessed to have such an awesome family. My life is complete!
What a sexy sexy man!! ;o) And he's ALL mine!
P.S. I told him I wouldn't post any pictures of him, but I couldn't resist. I just love this one of him.

Great update! Your kids are so cute-crazy to think that Justice is in 4th grade. Nuts!
I used to think that bats didn't bother me. But, they do. I went to the zoo recently and there were hundreds hanging upside down in a small little space. Nasty. I don't think I could deal with them in my home. yikers.
